Hi, I am one of the charter members of Bozeman CRC and proud of it. My parent joined this church in 1945 when it started and of course we were the kids of the family so we also became members at that time. I taught Sunday School for a number of years. I had the 3 year olds and loved every one of them. I helped with a Bible Club we held every Wednesday after school in Belgrade. We would have 20 to 25 kids come right after school and we would sing, have Bible lessons and then do a craft of some sort. Some of the ladies I see still remember that to this day. It was a time we could witness to them. At that time I also got involved in driving a school bus to Bible school (thanks to Pastor Buining). Then I also drove school bus for the Christian School for 26 yrs.
At the present time I am doing my duty at the Linen Closet at the church. I do enjoy taking care of those in need. I see a lot of people in need of sheets, pillow cases, towels, blankets, pillows, washcloths, crib blankets and comforters. This is a great ministry for our church. I got involved through Phyllis Kessler and have really seen where it is necessary. Occasionally I need assistance and Teddy and Bernice step up and do that for me. Thanks to them. I will continue this as long as I am able, God willing.
I am blest with a good family. I do have time to travel and see them at different parts of the states. Out of the seven I only have one living close.
