"I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” John 15:5
When we “abide”, “stay” rooted, connected to our Lord, we will bear fruit! He blesses us, nourishes us, and empowers us. May He help us grow in understanding how to “remain”.
The Gallatin Valley Diaconate continues to partner with Love INC to provide furniture for families in need. If you have used furniture you would like to donate, call Love INC (587-6395) to make arrangements for it to be picked up. Particularly needed are all sizes of beds, dressers, and dining room chairs. The diaconate will also accept help cutting firewood. Please call Love INC for details.
On March 7, we will be taking an offering for the work of Christian Reformed World Relief and specifically for the work in Haiti. Prayerfully consider how you can help those who have suffered so much. This is our opportunity to rise to the great first need of this new year, bearing fruit as we stay rooted in Christ.
